Business Education Summit
October 28, 2009, 7:30 - 11:00am

The Education Foundation will hold its 14th Annual Business Education Summit

Where will I get my future employees? What are the schools doing to prepare the workers I will need? How can my business get involved? Questions like this are being asked more and more frequently as small and large businesses anticipate an economic upturn and as the region seeks new businesses to keep our economy strong.  With these questions in mind, the 2009 Business Education Summit will focus on “Building the Pipeline” within our public schools so that all students graduate equipped with the knowledge and skills they will need for further education or direct entry into the workforce. The Education Foundation has been working with the region’s businesses, school districts and Ford Motor Company Fund to study and adapt successful national models and create world class schools in this region.
