Charleston Insight

Environmental Committee - Monthly
Presentations and discussions of current and proposed environmental regulations/legislation and their impact on local industry is the focus of this committee.  By providing pertinent information and an exchange of ideas on regulatory developments and policy issues relating to air, water, waste, health and safety, and natural resources, the committee recomends specific policy and legislative positions on environmental regulation.  In turn, these recommendations are adopted by the Chamber's Business Advocacy Committee as part of shaping its overall advocacy strategy.
